Klaus Schwab
Schwab is the executive chairman and founder of the World Economic Forum, which is held annually in Davos, Switzerland, bringing together business, political, and intellectual leaders. The World Economic Forum first identified the concept of stakeholders in 1971, and has since encouraged continual development of corporate engagement. Schwab’s push for global corporate citizenship in order to contribute to the sustainability of the global marketplace, ties in with The Rix Center’s concept of promoting sustainable enterprises and communities.
