Anita Roddick
Roddick founded the cosmetics company The Body Shop in 1976. It now has 2,400 stores in 61 countries. The Body Shop uses a business model that is socially responsible – providing consumers with all-natural, eco-friendly products. Roddick’s social conscious is instilled into the values of The Body Shop – with the banning of products that use animal testing, and the promotion of renewable resources.
