Vancouver’s biggest youth rally huge success, thanks to Board director

Vancouver’s first We Day saw over 16,000 youth pack General Motors Place, thanks to Vancouver Board of Trade director Lorne Segal.

Segal initiated and organized Vancouver’s biggest ever youth rally last Tuesday, September 28.

The day was a phenomenal display of compassion, enthusiasm, and talent with the goal of making a positive change in our world, led by Craig and Marc Kielburger, founders of the worldwide Free the Children organization and the program now running in many Lower Mainland schools – From Me to We. Marc and Craig Kielburger were presented the Rix Center for Corporate Citizenship & Engaged Leadership’s inaugural Engaged Citizenship Award on May 14, 2009 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
